The Invincible Man That FellMy grandpa has always been a big man in my life. At over six foot with the manners of a gentleman he was no doubt the greatest man I'd ever known. He had always seemed invincible, greater than life itself, and it seemed like nothing could bring him down.
In February of 2011 I heard the worst news possible, my grandpa, my idol, was dying. I went to Texas in a state of shock. The one man who I though was going to live forever now had a stopwatch counting down the seconds of his life. When I got to the hospital I was too scared to see my grandpa. A knife called furyShe screamed her fury at the boy in front of her. As they argued she finally asked.
"Do you honestly hate me that much?!" Her reply was simple.
"Yes! I wouldn't even care if you died!" Taking this into consideration she grabbed a knife. Deliberately she cut her wrists, slowly. When the boy tried looking away she just shoved the knife cutting her arm in his face.
"Look! Look! You don't care if I die so why not watch me do it?! Know that as I'm doing this it's because of you! You told me you did't care!"

So today I decided to grow up. I'm not going to be the same person who gets mad when I can't change the situation. Nothing can make people learn that what is in the past is supposed to stay there if they don't want to let it go. I'm going to be the better person and just say forget it. If you still don't like me after I have tried everything to make things up then that's just you being childish and I can't help you. What happened almost a year ago is in the past; let it go. All you're doing is making things harder on yourself and proving that you aren't as mature as everyone thinks. Good luck.
